THE BARLINKA IS A BLACK SEEDED GRAPE WITH A CRISP, SWEET TASTE.
The Barlinka round berry has a unique sweet taste and deep purple skin colour. The flesh is green and contains pips. Each bunch is well filled with medium-sized berries (18-22 mm).
Discovered in 1910 in Algeria by Professor Izak Perold, the first professor of Viticulture and Oenology at Stellenbosch University.
